POWERTRAIN

Members in the Powertrain Department work on optimising a stock engine, in order to harness as much power as possible with the given constraints. Bespoke systems are designedusing CAD software and tested using the relevant CAE packages.

 

The Intake, Exhaust, Cooling, Fuel and Lubrication systems are designed and virtually tested to very tight tolerances. Members will be split (in pairs) into several sub divisions within the, Powertrain department, and will be expected to deliver the parts required for one of the engine systems.
