Best Newcomer Award (IC)
This award is given to the team whom the judges feel excelled in their first year. QMFS was awarded this award during our rookie year in FSUK.

2nd Place Overall in Concept (IC)
Top UK university in Concept Class out of 28 participating teams.

1st Place Concept Cost & Manufacturing (IC)
This section of the competition requires teams to create a Costed Bill of Materials for their build and justify all costs. In the final, teams are also required to give engineering solutions to 'real-life' problems.

8th Place Overall in Concept (EV)
For our first EV design we excelled and finished 8th among 30 teams.

26th Place Overall Formula Class (IC)
After 5 years, QMFS returned to the Formula Class of the competition. Despite failing scrutineering (not participating in dynamic events), the team placed 26th out of 60 teams scoring 18th in the static events. The previous result in Formula Class for QMFS was in 2018, placing 63rd out of 81 teams.

2nd Place Formula Cost & Manufacturing (IC)
Another notable award is our 2nd place Cost & Manufacturing award in a significantly more difficult formula class.

6th Place Overall for IC Concept
8th Place Overall for EV Concept
After competing in FSUK23/24 with two different concept submissions, both teams secured top 10 finishes, making QMUL the best London-based university in the 2024 concept rankings.

31st Place Overall Formula Class (IC)
After a year of hard work the Formula Class team achieved 31st overall and passed the chassis scrutineering check for the first time since the team debuted.
